It's fun to reach a point in my photographic journey where I can look back at old stuff and see change happening in the images.
I've been meaning to put together a dusk panoramic of Portland's waterfront that I photographed a couple of months ago. It's from a popular place that I find myself returning to year after year in different weather and times of the day. As I finished this new merger, I got to thinking about the first panoramic I captured there during a pink dawn in 2006. That image is a favorite of mine. I used three medium format frames of Fujifilm Velvia and hand blended them in Photoshop.
Comparing the two and seeing the change that's happened to this skyline over the past nine years was really interesting. I thought I'd share it. Click either image to enlarge.
