Creating a Print in the Studio
I'm so pleased to be shipping this 24 x 36" print off to Joe Del Grosso who submitted the winning bid in a charity auction benefiting survivors of Washington State's wildfires. Here's a timelapse of it's creation in the new studio space.

I nearly have the new studio-printshop finished here at the Henry Homestead and I can't wait to get the big new 44-inch Epson roll-feed printer working on huge prints. I love creating HUGE prints for installations and creating hand-made limited edition prints. The ultra-high-resolution Panoramic above is a prime candidate to test the new system out...
Plumbing is in, electrical is done, drywall's next week and I hope to have the printers running by next month. I couldn't be more excited!

Big Projects: The Red Hills of Dundee Panoramic Print
Nothing is better for me as a photographer than tackling a must do assignment which pushes the limits of my knowledge and skill. These types of jobs force me to stretch my limits and make me grow as a photographer. The print project I share here was one of the more rewarding commissions I've taken on. After completing it I have been working to ramp up my in house capacity to complete much larger print productions than this. (But I'm getting ahead of myself; stay tuned for that story...)
