Hudson’s passion for creating dramatic still and motion imagery is infectious. In addition to his adventure, travel and expedition field work, a growing list of commercial clients rely on Hudson’s unique ability to produce stunning, ultra-high-resolution work in the most demanding of locations and conditions. Panoramic merger composites, 360 degree images, and time-lapse video are all long-time technical specialties.

Hudson is also a teacher and a people person, and has been regularly leading photography workshops since 2017. He specializes in small workshops of less than 15 people, teaching landscape, wildlife and street  photography all over the United States, ranging from Death Valley, Arches and Yellowstone National Parks, to cities like Portland, Oregon and Charleston, SC, and to such international locations as Patagonia and Costa Rica.

Hudson spends a great deal of time writing articles, producing teaching videos and designing training programs to help fellow visual artists  increase their technical skills shooting and editing, and to develop their own distinct creative vision. Hudson finds this time coaching other photographers incredibly rewarding.

"Adventure takes many forms and I’m pleased to be able to lead workshops, take on assignments, sell prints and share with you the stories behind the images.  My travels take me to many exotic yet very accessible places and it’s my hope that at some point you will come along.  If it’s a print in your home, an assignment for your organization, connecting on the internet or at one of my workshops we’ll travel the world together.

Feel free to contact me any time."
